Which banks are supported?

All banks. Unlike OCR-based tools that need a template for each bank format, Scramjet's AI reads any bank statement layout. Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Citi, Capital One, HSBC, Barclays, TD Bank, PNC — it works with every bank worldwide.

Is it really free?

Yes. One-off conversions are completely free with no signup required. If you need batch processing (50+ statements), API access, or scheduled automated conversions, those are available on the Pro plan ($19/mo).

Is my data safe?

Your PDF is processed on Cloudflare's edge network — the closest data center to you. Text is extracted in your browser. We do not store your files or the extracted data after processing.

How accurate is it?

For digital PDFs (most bank statements), accuracy is 99%+. AI understands the semantic meaning of transactions, not just pixel positions. It correctly handles multi-line descriptions, varying date formats, and complex layouts.

Can I convert scanned/image PDFs?

Currently we support digital (text-based) PDFs. Scanned/image PDF support via multimodal AI is coming soon — the same AI will read images directly without OCR.

What output formats are supported?

CSV (compatible with Excel, Google Sheets, QuickBooks, Xero) and JSON (for developers and API integrations). QBO and OFX formats are coming soon for direct QuickBooks/accounting software import.
